Senior Sales Manager

About the role

This full-time management position is responsible for proactively seeking and handling sales opportunities, ensuring business is turned over properly and in time for service delivery, and assisting in leading day-to-day sales activities. It focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that help achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade shows, and develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base.
• Work with off-property sales channels so that sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicative, and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate turnover to Event Management.
• Take part in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and close deals, and handle the operational side of booked business such as proposals, contracts and customer correspondence.
• Identify new business to meet personal and location revenue targets, understand the market and competitors, and close the best opportunities for the location.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, support the company's service and relationship strategy, and gather guest feedback on product quality and service levels.

Required profile

• A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major, with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related field.
• OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in one of those fields with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or a related field.
