Business Development Representative

About the role

MarketOne is seeking motivated Business Development Representatives to support global technology, software, and enterprise clients. The role involves outbound prospecting, engaging senior decision‑makers, and creating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telephone and email outreach to prospect and qualify leads.
• Engage with directors, VPs, CIOs, CTOs and other senior leaders to uncover business needs.
• Research accounts and contacts using CRM systems and prospecting tools, maintaining accurate activity records.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of target accounts, schedule meetings and facilitate introductions to client sales teams.
• Meet productivity, activity and quality targets set by management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in sales, lead generation or B2B business development.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills with a professional telephone presence.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is an asset.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with databases and sales engagement tools.
