Substitute Program Aide (Elementary)

About the role

The Substitute Program Aide supports Program Leaders in delivering activities for elementary‑age children in an unstructured, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement program activities that help children learn, develop skills, explore interests, and feel a sense of belonging.
• Build positive relationships with children, responding to their unique needs and interests.
• Provide constant supervision and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Use positive behavior‑support techniques to promote respectful and cooperative interactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to lift 5‑50 lb and perform frequent bending, walking, standing, kneeling, and other physical activities.
