Senior Engagement Associate – Caribbean Aggregation Procurement

About the role

We are looking for an Engagement Senior Associate to drive the Caribbean Aggregation Procurement Programme, supporting the transition to clean energy across the Caribbean region. You will work remotely, collaborating with governments, utilities and partners to identify and secure cooperation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of RELP’s growth strategy in the Caribbean.
• Map, prioritize and build a pipeline of target countries for engagement.
• Develop and maintain communication channels with governments, regulators, utilities and development partners.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops and consultations to align with regional priorities.
• Prepare cooperation agreements, scope of work and project proposals in collaboration with the Engagement Manager.
• Facilitate the transition from engagement to delivery, working closely with the Delivery Manager and global teams.
• Monitor political, regulatory and market developments and adapt strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in the energy sector, working on projects with Caribbean governments or utilities.
• Strong network within Ministries of Energy, utilities and regulators across the Caribbean.
• Deep understanding of national electricity markets, renewable energy markets and related technologies.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong influencing ability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
