Engagement Manager – Latin America & Caribbean

About the role

RELP is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead its growth strategy across Latin America and the Caribbean. You will identify cooperation opportunities, engage with governments and utilities, and transition engagements into concrete renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the regional growth strategy, mapping and prioritising target countries.
• Lead engagement conversations with governments, utilities, regulators and development partners.
• Develop and maintain communication channels and strategic partnerships at regional and country levels.
• Prepare partnership agreements, technical reports, project workflows and proposals.
• Coordinate with RELP global teams to showcase impact on local power markets and renewable deployment.
• Monitor political, regulatory and market developments and adapt strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of experience managing energy projects with governments or utilities in LAC.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
• Strong network within ministries of energy, utilities and regulators across the region.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of national electricity markets and renewable energy markets in LAC.
• Project management experience with a proven ability to deliver complex partnerships.
