Medical Sales Representative

About the role

Armstrong Health Care is recruiting a Medical Sales Representative to sell its AHCI product portfolio to healthcare professionals and decision makers in a defined geographic area. The role covers pharmacists, physicians, mid-level prescribers, nurses, billing staff and other key hospital stakeholders, and is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Meet sales targets and business objectives while executing the franchise and company brand strategy within the assigned customer segment.
• Build professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers, using clinical and business expertise and effective selling skills.
• Deliver a targeted sales message based on accurate clinical information and approved marketing materials, discussing therapeutic strategies.
• Run local marketing strategies, work with team members and share ideas to improve business results.
• Communicate with customers about product efficacy and safety, availability, treatment protocols, supply, distribution and reimbursement.
• Manage allocated resources including budgets, track and report sales activity, and develop and maintain key account business plans.
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively, monitor the competitive environment and anticipate objections, and provide training on products, technology and materials.

• Attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinking, and proven prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment, lead without supervision and go above and beyond.
• Clear understanding of how AHCI product portfolios are accessed and purchased.
