Backup Level 1 Technical Support Technician (On Demand)

About the role

This on‑demand position supports a client’s office in Barbados, providing first‑line backup and technical assistance. The technician must be ready to work on‑site whenever a service request arises.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site backup support and troubleshooting for Windows 10/11 environments.
• Handle service requests, ticket creation, and incident management.
• Perform basic networking and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
• Use remote support tools to assist users when off‑site.
• Manage inventory and execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
• Maintain documentation of support activities and updates.

Required profile

• Resident of Barbados with fluent English.
• Minimum 1 year experience in IT end‑user support, help‑desk, or on‑site assistance.
• Availability to provide on‑site support on short notice.
• Willingness to cover approximately 15 days of annual vacation for the primary technician.
