Strategic Resource Management Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an analytical and collaborative professional to serve as a Strategic Resource Management Consultant, supporting the implementation of an IT Financial Management tool and driving financial and resource planning across the IDB Group’s Technology and Transformation Department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring product‑level OKRs, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and budget frameworks.
• Support governance processes for prioritization and funding decisions across RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM initiatives.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards on budget execution, investment performance, and cost transparency.
• Help implement and adopt the IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool to improve cost transparency and funding allocation.
• Assist in the preparation, allocation, and monitoring of capital and administrative budgets, providing financial analysis and investment proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, cost optimization, and technology‑related projects.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken); French or Portuguese a plus.
• Citizenship of an IDB Group member country and no close relatives employed by the IDB.
