Systems Engineer

About the role

Fujitsu Caribbean is seeking a proactive Systems Engineer to serve as the technical backbone for operations, delivering high‑performance solutions and ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site break‑fix, maintenance, and operational services while meeting or exceeding SLA specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents remotely and on‑site, managing escalations proactively.
• Design, document, and deploy IT solutions ranging from simple fixes to moderately complex system integrations.
• Provide technical consultancy to clients and internal stakeholders, conduct technology audits, and ensure solutions are stable and maintainable.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or diploma in Computer Science/IT (Bachelor’s degree or certifications a plus).
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in a progressive IT environment.
• Ability to work independently, lead under pressure, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows Server and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Fundamentals of server and storage architecture.
• Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality management best practices.
• Exposure to virtualization and high‑performance computing (HPC) concepts.
