Inventory Control Analyst

About the role

Gildan, a manufacturer of everyday basic apparel, is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to reconcile inventories at third-party logistics (3PL) and consignment warehouses. The analyst compiles and analyzes reports and KPIs and takes part in resolving inventory issues. The role sits in the Inventory Control Department and reports directly to the Team Leader, Inventory Control.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Customer Service and the warehouse on weekly inventory reconciliation, document reasons for variances and take action to reconcile them
• Recommend actions to relevant parties to address recurring root causes
• Coordinate physical inventory and cycle counts and adjust system quantities to match physical quantities
• Compile annual budgets for consignment accounts
• Compile and analyze warehouse activity reports and KPIs for management on a weekly or monthly basis
• Support inventory control operations at the warehouses and help document standard operating procedures in GQS format

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline
• Three years of experience in a similar field
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, quantitative and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
