Audit Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Deloitte Barbados is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for key clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. You will work in a collaborative, multicultural environment, partnering with teams in Trinidad and Barbados to deliver high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients throughout the audit engagement cycle.
• Lead audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Liaise with client senior staff, review financial statements, and oversee the reporting process.
• Train and mentor audit teams on audit tools, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Internationally recognised professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• 4–6 years of progressive audit experience, preferably within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
