Actuarial Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Actuarial Services team. You will work with insurance, reinsurance and captive insurance clients, applying statistical modelling and data analysis to assess and manage financial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide audit support to a range of insurers, from SEC registrants to single‑parent captives.
• Deliver actuarial consulting services including reserving, pricing, merger and acquisition support, enterprise risk management and capital modelling.
• Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging actuarial techniques.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and actuarial standards of practice.
• Coach junior actuarial team members and support their professional development.
• Utilise software, spreadsheets and other tools to perform and document analytical work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Demonstrated progress on actuarial exams.
• Flexibility to work beyond core office hours when needed.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
