Executive Vice President (EVP) Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Executive Vice President (EVP) Finance will provide strategic and operational financial leadership for the Group’s insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO, Board and business‑unit leaders, the EVP will drive financial performance, capital efficiency and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Provide executive oversight of financial performance across subsidiaries, business units and investment platforms.
• Drive Group‑wide FP&A, management reporting, financial modelling and commercial finance.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, expenses, margins, cash flow, ROE, ROIC and return on capital.
• Oversee financial management of insurance operations, including premiums, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Provide financial leadership for investment and asset‑management businesses, covering portfolio reporting, valuation and performance analysis.
• Lead strategic capital planning, capital allocation, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet optimisation.
• Oversee treasury, funding, cash management and liquidity planning.
• Establish and strengthen Group‑wide financial governance, internal controls and risk‑management frameworks.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives such as ERP modernisation, automation, AI/data analytics and digital finance dashboards.

Required profile

• Senior enterprise‑level finance executive with extensive experience in insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses.
• Proven track record of leading financial strategy, planning, budgeting and performance management across multiple subsidiaries.
• Experience in capital planning, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet optimisation.
• Strong background in treasury, funding and cash‑management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation, ERP modernisation and digital finance initiatives.
