Client Accounting Analyst

About the role

A detail-oriented and client-focused accounting professional to manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and serve as a trusted point of contact for client financial matters. With a strong accounting, banking, or bookkeeping background, sound financial judgment, and excellent client relationship management skills, you will ensure client queries and requests are addressed within agreed Service Level Agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to‑day accounting functions for assigned client accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate management accounts and reports for clients as required.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for client entities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client accounting queries, ensuring professional and timely correspondence.
• Assist with tax filings for client entities and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
• Support monitoring and financial analysis for client accounts and maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an accounting, banking, or bookkeeping role, ideally within financial services or trust administration.
• Partially or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is an asset.
• Proven experience managing client relationships in a professional services or financial environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.
