Audit Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Deloitte Barbados is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for key clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. You will ensure high‑quality audit delivery, stay current with regulatory changes, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance the audit process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients throughout the audit engagement cycle.
• Lead audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Coordinate with client staff, review financial statements, and oversee the reporting process.
• Train and mentor audit teams on tools, new technologies, and regulatory updates.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of integrity and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Internationally recognized professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• 4–6 years of progressive audit experience, preferably within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodology, regulatory standards, and financial statement analysis.
