Executive Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Executive Vice President (EVP) Finance provides enterprise‑level financial leadership for a diversified group operating in insurance, investment, and asset‑management businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO, Board and business‑unit leaders, the EVP drives financial performance, capital efficiency and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute group‑wide financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Oversee financial performance across subsidiaries, business units and investment platforms, including FP&A, reporting and modelling.
• Manage insurance‑related finance: premiums, claims, reserves, reinsurance and underwriting profitability.
• Lead finance for investment and asset‑management activities, covering portfolio reporting, valuation and cost control.
• Direct capital planning, solvency, liquidity, balance‑sheet optimisation and treasury functions.
• Establish financial governance, internal controls, accounting policies and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, insurance and investment regulations.
• Lead due‑diligence and financial evaluation for M&A, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency and finance transformation initiatives such as ERP modernisation and AI‑enabled analytics.
• Maintain senior relationships with regulators, auditors, investors, rating agencies and other financial stakeholders.
