Service Technician / HGV Driver - Waste Management

About the role

A client is looking for a reliable Service Technician / HGV Driver in Barbados to support its waste management operations. The role covers daily service operations, vehicle operation and related duties, with a high standard of customer service. Full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles in the delivery of waste management services.
• Assist with the collection, removal and disposal of waste materials.
• Carry out assigned service duties safely and efficiently.
• Handle and lift medium to heavy materials as required.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid HGV licence (essential).
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy weights.
• Reliable, responsible and hardworking.
• Willingness to learn and complete full training.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
