Seasonal Waiter

About the role

As a Seasonal Waiter at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, you will deliver prompt, efficient and professional service to hotel and restaurant guests, contributing to a memorable dining experience in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to all hotel and restaurant guests.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation processes and allergen information.
• Complete mise en place tasks, including table setup and side station preparation before service.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point of sale system.
• Clear tables promptly and keep the restaurant area clean.
• Handle guest billing and payment processes efficiently.
• Adhere to health, hygiene and safety standards.
• Perform room service duties and assist with special function setup and breakdown as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of three CXC passes (Secondary School education).
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to speak a foreign language (French, German or Italian) is an asset.
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.
