Seasonal Room Attendant

About the role

As a Seasonal Room Attendant at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, you will ensure each guestroom meets the highest luxury standards of cleanliness, elegance and comfort. You will create a welcoming environment where guests feel truly cared for, contributing to the resort’s reputation for world‑class hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guestrooms to Fairmont standards, including floors, walls, furniture and fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms, restock linen, amenities and ice‑buckets.
• Strip and remake beds according to hotel procedures.
• Collect garbage and maintain trolleys, cubby holes and corridors in tidy condition.
• Report maintenance defects, guest comments or complaints to the Supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special room requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.
• Inspect rooms upon completion to ensure all tasks meet quality standards before guest occupancy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently, manage time and follow instructions.
• Professional, courteous and guest‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic understanding of English; additional languages are a plus.
