Seasonal Barista

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join the Food & Beverage team at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, a luxury resort on Barbados’ Platinum Coast. The role is seasonal and involves preparing high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering friendly, personalized service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, specialty drinks and refreshments.
• Provide friendly, efficient and personalized service across resort restaurants.
• Maintain clean, organized coffee stations and equipment.
• Assist with stock replenishment and ensure adequate supplies.
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team during busy periods and help with conferences, functions and special events.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous barista experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or similar environment.
• A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to connect with guests.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality beverages.
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
