Sales Advisor - Insurance and Financial Services

About the role

Sagicor Financial Company Ltd. is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Advisor in Bridgetown. The advisor identifies prospective clients, presents Sagicor's insurance and financial solutions and guides them through product selection based on their needs and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients, conduct needs assessments and prepare and deliver sales proposals
• Follow up on leads to achieve sales targets
• Provide ongoing customer service and support policy administration
• Help clients understand benefits, claims and coverage options
• Take part in training sessions and stay current on product offerings and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues to support branch and company objectives

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, retail banking, insurance or another customer-facing role is an asset
• Minimum 5 CXC post-secondary education in business, finance or a related field is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Bridgetown, manage time effectively and keep accurate records of client interactions and sales activities

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse clients
• Customer service skills focused on responsiveness, problem solving and client satisfaction
• Sales skills including prospecting, negotiation, closing and working toward defined sales targets
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or financial services products
