About the role

Ross University School of Medicine seeks a dynamic educator to join the Office of External Affairs as a Faculty member in Community Medicine and Global Health. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching, curriculum design, and community‑engaged learning for MD students in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve curriculum for the Community Medicine & Global Health (CMGH) track.
• Prepare and update course materials, lecture content, and workshop sessions.
• Mentor junior faculty and teaching fellows, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Write, review, and revise examination questions to assess student competency.
• Engage in field work, community partnerships, and program evaluation.
• Contribute to overall curriculum integration across the medical school.

Required profile

• Passionate educator with experience in community medicine or global health.
• Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative pedagogy.
• Ability to develop patient‑centric, humanistic learning experiences.
• Experience supervising students in clinical or community settings.
