Clinical Foundations Instructor (Medical Education)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Foundations Instructor to join the faculty of Ross University School of Medicine. The role involves delivering high‑impact instruction to medical students in a trimester‑based curriculum, leveraging modern educational technologies and fostering student success.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize platforms such as Zoom, Interdashboard, Turning Point, Doceri, NearPod, Socrates, Kahoot, and mobile iPad tools to engage learners.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, workshops, small‑group sessions, and case‑based discussions.
• Provide one‑on‑one academic advising and guide students to appropriate resources.
• Write, review, and grade NBME‑style questions and examinations, continuously improving assessment quality.
• Participate in curriculum review, revisions, and faculty mentoring programs.
• Serve on committees, advisory groups, and contribute to course content development.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies and professional standards.

Required profile

• Terminal medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).
• Residency training; Board‑eligible or Board‑certified preferred.
• Current medical licensure in the relevant specialty.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant teaching or clinical education experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoom, Interdashboard, Turning Point, Doceri, NearPod, Socrates, Kahoot.
• Experience using iPads and creating iBooks for mobile learning (a plus).
• Ability to write and evaluate NBME‑style questions and examinations.
