Consulting Specialist

About the role

GlobalEdge Consulting & Management Ltd., a Barbados-based consulting and project development firm serving clients across the Caribbean and international markets, is hiring a full-time, on-site Consulting Specialist in Bridgetown. The role supports clients through the full project lifecycle, from opportunity assessment to funding, implementation and ongoing improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and diagnostics, and prepare business and financial plans
• Contribute to investment readiness assessments and support risk and compliance reviews
• Take part in client meetings and workshops, and deliver training sessions
• Prepare clear presentations, reports and proposals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strategic partnerships and help clients move projects from concept to execution

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and develop evidence-based recommendations
• Consulting and management consulting experience, ideally in strategy, project development or business planning
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, public policy, management or a related field; advanced degree is an asset
• Experience designing and delivering training or workshops for clients and internal teams
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills, including writing clear reports, proposals and presentations
• Knowledge of sectors such as agriculture and food systems, renewable energy, infrastructure, housing, hospitality or technology is beneficial
• Familiarity with investment readiness, risk and compliance, and partnership or PPP frameworks is an advantage
