Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The CEO of Amicorp Bank and Trust (ABT) is responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the bank. The role holder agrees strategic priorities with the Board and drives revenue, financial performance and sustainable, compliant growth, while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction and positioning of the bank and lead its strategic and operational plans
• Deliver the financial goals agreed with the Board and keep a clear view of the bank's financial position
• Create and innovate new products and services, and adapt existing ones to meet client needs across markets
• Cultivate a client-focused culture and maintain long-term client relationships
• Identify strategic and operational risks and ensure updated risk management, compliance and governance frameworks
• Keep executives informed of company and industry regulations and stay in touch with government, ministries and associations on regulatory policy
• Report accurately and on time to shareholders and regulators, and uphold a professional standard with all stakeholders
• Engage in corporate social action and community initiatives
• Serve as a Board member and take other roles (director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory) in internal or client entities as required by management

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or management
• At least 20 years of experience in banking or finance, including at least 5 years in a senior executive management position, ideally in a commercial bank
• Professional membership or additional qualifications preferred
