Specialized Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Specialized Technician to join our workshop team. The role focuses on executing work orders to the highest standards, handling paint preparation, and ensuring safety and quality throughout each task.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work according to work orders, service manuals and standard procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate and maintain special tools, ensuring they remain in good working order.
• Notify the Quality Controller and Parts Clerk of any additional work requirements or job difficulties.
• Determine required paint colours, mix paints using the agitator system, match samples, and test batches on panels.
• Record all paint formulas, vehicle registrations and repair order numbers, label containers and manage inventory adjustments.
• Issue paint to technicians for testing and support the purchase order process for paint supplies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
• Strong attention to detail when matching colours and recording data.
• Effective communication with quality control and parts coordination teams.

Required skills

• Operation of special workshop tools.
• Use of paint mixing systems (agitator) and colour‑matching techniques.
• Accurate record‑keeping of paint formulas and inventory.
• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Interpretation of service manuals and work orders.
