Seasonal Waiter

About the role

As a waiter you will deliver prompt, efficient, consistent and professional service to all guests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to hotel and restaurant guests.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation processes and allergen information.
• Complete all mise en place tasks before service, including table setup and side‑station preparation.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Clear tables promptly and keep the restaurant area clean.
• Handle guest billing and payment processes efficiently.
• Adhere to health, hygiene and safety standards and perform room‑service duties as required.
• Assist with special function setup and breakdown.

Required profile

• Minimum of three CXC passes (Secondary School education).
• Good oral communication skills; ability to speak a foreign language such as French, German or Italian is an asset.
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.
