Seasonal Room Attendant

About the role

As a Seasonal Room Attendant at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, you will ensure guest rooms meet the resort’s luxury standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to deliver a welcoming environment for guests staying on Barbados’ Platinum Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guestrooms to Fairmont standards, including floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, and bathrooms.
• Strip and remake beds, restock linen, amenities, and ice‑buckets according to hotel procedures.
• Collect garbage, maintain trolleys and corridors, and report any maintenance defects or guest comments.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to confirm they meet quality standards before guest occupancy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexible availability for shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products and equipment.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
