Seasonal Houseman

About the role

Seasonal Houseman will support the housekeeping team at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, a 75‑room luxury resort on Barbados’ Platinum Coast. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure guest requests are fulfilled and maintain the high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill special guest requests for items such as cribs, cots, extra towels and other amenities.
• Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from room attendant carts promptly.
• Report maintenance and safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Restock and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens and equipment.
• Assist room attendants with room turnover during peak periods and support deep‑cleaning projects.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous and focused on guest needs.
