Fractional Business Development & Commercial Manager

About the role

Whapaxx Gaming is looking for a Fractional Business Development & Commercial Manager to lead the creation of new revenue streams. Reporting directly to the founder, you will work independently to identify and secure commercial opportunities for the family‑entertainment destination in Barbados.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business‑development initiatives across corporate events, schools, tourism partners, private parties, sponsorships and B2B sales.
• Prospect, make introductions, arrange meetings, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts to convert leads into measurable revenue.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses, hotels, tourism agencies and educational organisations.
• Provide regular updates to the founder and manage the full sales cycle with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, partnership building or commercial strategy.
• Existing network within Barbados’ corporate, tourism, hospitality, education or events sectors is highly valuable.
• Self‑directed, commercially minded and focused on execution.
