Audit Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Deloitte Barbados is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for key clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. You will work across Barbados and Trinidad, gaining cross‑cultural exposure while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Lead audit planning, execution, review of financial statements, and reporting.
• Liaise with client staff and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Train and mentor audit teams on tools, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of integrity and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Internationally recognised accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• 4–6 years of progressive audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of emerging audit technologies.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards.
