Logistics Team Leader

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Logistics Team Leader to manage a team of five associates at its Barbados facility. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality and productivity while driving process‑improvement projects and supporting cross‑functional initiatives in warehouse and network design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of five, holding them accountable for savings and productivity standards.
• Oversee logistics functions including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service.
• Partner with Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to identify and resolve logistics‑related quality and service issues.
• Assist in developing the site logistics budget and continuously improve performance against metrics.
• Coordinate operational redesign projects and capital improvement implementations.
• Monitor fixed assets, communicate logistics metrics, and support inventory oversight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing or logistics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced use of MS Access and Excel.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of TPM and Lean Manufacturing principles.
