Junior Aviation Technical Manager

About the role

Sol Aviation Service Limited SASL is seeking a Junior Aviation Technical Manager to oversee aviation operations across selected Caribbean and South American locations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will guide airport superintendents and supervisors while ensuring compliance with Sol Aviation, Shell, and JIG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Stewardship of affiliate aviation operations, ensuring adherence to all applicable procedures and policies.
• Develop and manage airport and marine terminal visit plans, providing coaching and supervision to airport staff.
• Implement aviation operational standards, HSE, product quality programs, and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor control programs related to assets, cash handling, oil loss, and payment processes.
• Assist in evaluating and coordinating capital investment projects and operational efficiencies.
• Represent the company in Joint Operations Committees and negotiate contracts with airport and government authorities.
• Support marine terminal product clearance, stock monitoring, and supply coordination.
• Prepare and execute the regional budget focusing on OPEX, other income, training, and CAPEX.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Sales.

Required profile

• Current Sol staff or external applicant with eligibility to work in the assigned regions.
• Experience in aviation or airport operations management.
• Ability to lead airport superintendents and supervisors.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety, product quality, and cost‑control practices.
