Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Vice President Finance will lead financial planning, reporting and performance management for the Group’s insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO, this senior leader will partner with business‑unit CEOs, investment heads and risk teams to drive profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and FP&A across insurance and investment units.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and management accounts.
• Monitor revenue, margins, cash flow, capital returns and solvency metrics.
• Support insurance finance functions including premium income, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Manage investment portfolio reporting, valuation and performance analysis.
• Coordinate capital planning, liquidity management and treasury activities.
• Ensure robust financial controls, accounting policies and internal‑control frameworks.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation, automation and data‑analytics enhancements.
• Provide financial modelling for M&A, strategic investments and new product launches.
• Lead, coach and develop finance managers and controllers.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience in insurance and investment or asset‑management finance.
• Strong track record of delivering accurate financial reporting and driving profitability.
• Experience with capital planning, solvency and liquidity management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation and automation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management with CEOs, CFOs and investment leaders.
