General Maintenance/Carpenter

About the role

As a General Maintenance/Carpenter you will help keep the hotel safe, functional and welcoming by maintaining and repairing the property’s physical structures. You will work directly with guests and team members to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Support overall hotel facility maintenance, including guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond promptly to service requests from guests and staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and address identified needs.
• Maintain and repair doors, windows, furniture and other structural elements.
• Manage maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Execute carpentry projects such as building furniture, signs and specialty items.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized and tools properly maintained.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets safety standards.
• Document inspections, repairs and any issues requiring further attention.
