General Maintenance & Painter

About the role

As a General Maintenance & Painter at Hilton, you will keep the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces safe, functional and visually appealing. You’ll combine routine maintenance tasks with painting and surface‑finishing work to ensure every surface reflects the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Support facility maintenance by assisting with the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and operational areas.
• Respond promptly to service requests from guests and team members.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Prepare, apply and polish paints, stains, varnishes and lacquers on walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings such as vinyl, fabric and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden and masonry surfaces.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Manage inventory of paints, solvents and related supplies, ensuring safe storage.
