Senior Plant Attendant

About the role

The Senior Plant Attendant ensures safe and efficient daily operation of the LPG plant, including tanker discharge activities, at SOL Barbados Ltd.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain highest safety standards, monitor HSE policies and report issues to the LPG Foreman.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on drains, sumps, pipelines, fire systems, pumps and depot equipment such as forklifts and trolley jacks.
• Conduct daily start‑up and shutdown procedures, calibrate filling scales, and test fire pumps and safety devices.
• Assist with tanker discharge operations, tank dips, pipeline pressure monitoring, and dispatch of customer orders.
• Ensure proper waste disposal, housekeeping, and record‑keeping for product storage vessels.

Required profile

• Secondary education with technical college qualification and 3‑5 years experience in an industrial facility.
• Ability to self‑plan, deliver results on time, and work well in a team.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and compliance with HSSE and emergency codes.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical aptitude.
