Senior Estimator

About the role

Aecon is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation and bid preparation for complex infrastructure projects across the Caribbean region. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate pricing of materials, equipment, subcontracted work and labour.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and execution plans for construction projects.
• Compute costs for raw materials, leased equipment, subcontracted services and labour.
• Participate in design reviews for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), civil and architectural subcontract packages.
• Support the bid tendering process with accurate pricing and documentation.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to align estimates with project requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in construction cost estimating, preferably in heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP, civil and architectural subcontract scopes.
• Proven ability to develop accurate bid packages and execution plans.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
