Marketing Manager - Premium Beverages Division

About the role

Acado (Barbados) Limited, a distributor of Fast Moving Consumer Goods representing local, regional and international brands, is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to run its Premium Beverages Division. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role takes the strategic lead on brand-building initiatives to grow customers and consumers across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strategic plan for organic growth, product opportunities, acquisitions and other growth initiatives
• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and budget for the division
• Lead and manage a results-oriented marketing team
• Research, analyse and monitor market and product-mix factors
• Develop pricing strategies and product placement systems with the Commercial Manager
• Ensure budgeted P&L is achieved for all brands in the portfolio
• Set up customer feedback mechanisms to gauge market response
• Ensure successful launches of new products and promotion of current ones
• Build a strong online presence for the division

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing or Business Administration; postgraduate degree in Business or Marketing is an asset
• At least six years' experience in a similar marketing role or leading a marketing team
• Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams with proven results

Required skills

• Sound understanding of marketing in a competitive market and how to influence consumer buying behaviour
• Strong presentation skills and use of the MS Office suite for data presentation
• Effective oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Creative ability, deadline-driven, with excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
