IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

The IDB Group is building a talent pool of qualified IT Office Support Consultants to staff its representation offices across Latin America and the Caribbean. As a member of this pool, you will be called upon to provide end‑user IT assistance, maintain equipment, and support new initiatives whenever a vacancy arises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user IT support to IDB personnel, ensuring effective use of hardware, software, connectivity, and training resources.
• Provision and manage standard workstations throughout their full lifecycle in line with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the upkeep of IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, security systems, and coordination with local service providers.
• Collaborate on new IT initiatives, acting as a liaison between IT teams and other departments.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, ticketing records, reports, and dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, including customer support activities.
• Proficiency in English and one additional Bank official language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Working knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, communication platforms, Android/iOS devices, Active Directory, VMWare/VDI, and workstation maintenance.
• Desirable knowledge of ITIL processes, ISO 9001:2015, and continuous‑improvement frameworks.
• Project Management experience based on PMI standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI technologies and their ethical considerations is a plus.
