Investment Management Analyst / Associate – Talent Pool

About the role

IDB Invest is creating a Talent Pool of qualified Investment Management Analysts and Associates to support its work across Financial Institutions, Corporates, and Infrastructure & Energy sectors in the Caribbean. The pool will be used for current and future opportunities that require innovative financing solutions and strong client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring, negotiation, approval and execution of loan, quasi‑equity and equity investments.
• Contribute to client relationship management, business development and due‑diligence activities.
• Perform financial analysis, modeling and market research for corporate, infrastructure and energy projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess opportunities, manage risks and deliver financing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• 1‑2 years of professional experience in loan/investment analysis, structured finance or corporate finance transactions.
• Experience with complex transaction analysis and exposure to institutional investors is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese or French are advantageous.
