Graduate Civil Engineer

About the role

Join Aecon’s Civil East sector as a Graduate Civil Engineer and work alongside experienced professionals on complex infrastructure projects such as bridges, highways, tunnels and airports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare simple plans, designs, calculations, cost estimates and bills of material according to codes and specifications.
• Support project cost monitoring, material supply tracking and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Assist with bids, proposals and act as liaison between client, subcontractors and the project team.
• Generate RFIs and NCRs, participate in cost code setup and coordinate information between estimating and site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (2:2 or higher preferred).
• Full driver’s license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in both field and office environments.
