Country Manager – Barbados

About the role

PickUP is redefining transportation and on‑demand services across the Caribbean. We are seeking a Barbados Country Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations, drive growth and ensure exceptional experiences for passengers, drivers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own P&L and financial performance of the Barbados market, develop and manage the annual operating budget.
• Lead daily operational, administrative and financial activities, including accounts administration, reconciliations and chargeback/fraud dispute management.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaign objectives, budgets and timelines to align marketing with commercial goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and operational performance.
• Drive business development initiatives, build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, and uncover new commercial opportunities.
• Represent PickUP with government, corporate and industry stakeholders across transportation and tourism sectors.
• Lead, develop and support the Barbados Operations team and a network of over 700 taxi drivers, fostering a high‑performing, innovative culture.

Required profile

• Proactive leader with a strong commercial mindset and proven ability to build and scale businesses.
• Highly organized, data‑driven and comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing P&L and budgets.
