Account Executive – Insurance and Captive Management

About the role

The Account Executive will manage a portfolio of captive insurance companies, preparing management financial statements and coordinating year‑end audits. The role requires frequent interaction with external agencies and client supervisors, demanding strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting services and prepare monthly/quarterly management financial statements for captive insurers.
• Record premiums, claims, and reserves; coordinate financial statement audits.
• Prepare and present financial results at board meetings; develop forecasts and budgets.
• Review and authorize payments, analyze complex transactions, and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA or ACCA).
• Experience in captive insurance, reinsurance, or international insurance audits is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using DocuSign and payments dashboards.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards; knowledge of US and Canadian GAAP is a plus.
