Water Treatment Service Technician I

About the role

ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited is looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Water Treatment Service Technician I to join its Water Treatment Team. You will deliver safe and efficient water‑treatment services to major clients while ensuring compliance with operational, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site testing and monitoring of water‑treatment systems to verify performance and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Install, maintain and calibrate pumps, dosing equipment and related hardware.
• Record and report service activities, water‑quality data and test results for customer records and internal compliance.
• Train customers on safe and effective use of water‑treatment products and equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and relay customer feedback.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites and help strengthen long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Associate Degree or Technical Diploma in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Water‑Treatment Technology, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in water‑treatment, industrial services, maintenance or utilities.
• Valid driver’s permit and willingness to travel to customer locations.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of water‑treatment systems, pumps and dosing equipment.
• Familiarity with testing procedures and water‑quality analysis.
• Installation, maintenance and calibration of water‑treatment equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
