Tax Senior – Advisory & Compliance Role

About the role

Deloitte Barbados is seeking a Tax Senior to join its tax services team. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tax compliance and consulting solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients while continuously developing your expertise across complex tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute tax engagements covering business tax, international tax, mergers & acquisitions, transaction support, indirect tax and general compliance.
• Utilise Deloitte’s tax tools and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members to ensure high‑quality service.
• Participate in Deloitte’s DE&I, sustainability and well‑being initiatives and community events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, JD, LLM, Masters of Taxation, ICSA) completed or near completion.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax, tax accounting procedures, legal tax services or financial control.
• Proven ability to research, learn and apply relevant tax methodologies and corporate legislation.
