About the role
The Manager, Global Leadership Development is responsible for designing, implementing, managing and continuously evolving Gildan’s global leadership development strategy and portfolio. This role will create and launch learning journeys for leaders at multiple levels across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design, launch, manage, and continuously improve global leadership development programs and learning journeys across multiple leadership levels.
- Continuously assess leadership development trends, best practices and emerging approaches to enhance Gildan’s leadership development portfolio.
- Support the development and execution of Gildan's global leadership development strategy.
- Ensure that leadership programs are aligned with Gildan’s leadership capabilities, values and talent strategy.
- Lead enterprise coaching and mentoring initiatives and partner with HR and business leaders to identify effective leadership development solutions.
- Facilitate leadership programs, workshops, and development experiences in virtual and in‑person environments.
- Partner with Talent Management, Succession Planning, and business leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines and succession readiness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Education or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management or Learning and Development.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs for diverse leadership populations.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership competency models, coaching, mentoring, and talent development practices.
- Experience facilitating engaging virtual and in‑person leadership development programs.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work across cultures and global teams.
- Results‑oriented with a passion for developing leaders and driving organizational growth.
