Manager, Corporate Learning & Client Partnerships

About the role

SCHSBM is seeking a Manager – Corporate Learning & Client Partnerships to lead the growth of its customised programmes and corporate learning portfolio across Barbados and the Caribbean and selected international markets. The role owns the corporate learning book of business, from opportunity discovery and solution design through delivery oversight and client success, and reports to the Programme Manager – Executive Education & Professional Development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the growth and commercial performance of customised programmes and the corporate learning portfolio across Barbados, the Caribbean and selected international markets.
• Own and develop relationships with corporate and public-sector clients, development partners and professional bodies, positioning SCHSBM as a long-term learning partner.
• Manage the qualified opportunity pipeline from discovery and proposal to negotiation and award, keeping CRM records accurate and forecasts reliable.
• Conduct consultative needs discovery and organisational capability diagnosis, and co-design customised leadership, management and workforce development solutions with faculty and subject-matter experts.
• Lead proposals, tenders, pricing and commercial offers, working with Finance to protect contribution margin and cash.
• Oversee delivery governance for multiple concurrent engagements, directing programme coordination teams and coordinating faculty, facilitators and external suppliers.
• Drive client success through evaluation and impact reporting, focusing on renewals and account expansion.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and emerging practices in digital learning and AI, and coach team members while collaborating with Business Development, Marketing, Programme Development and Finance.

Required profile

• Master's degree (required) in Business Administration, Management, Human Resource Development, Organisational Development, Adult Education, Learning and Development, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years' progressively responsible experience in corporate learning, executive education, professional development, consulting, business development or professional services.
• Minimum of three years' experience owning or managing a corporate learning portfolio, strategic client accounts or complex customised programmes.
• Track record of turning organisational needs and qualified opportunities into contracts, revenue and repeat business.
• Experience diagnosing capability needs and designing customised solutions for senior and executive audiences, and preparing proposals, tenders, budgets and pricing models.
• Experience in corporate and public-sector markets in the Caribbean or internationally is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Professional certification in learning and development, instructional design, executive education, project management, consultative selling, account management or customer success is desirable.
• Training or certification in a recognised CRM, proposal-management, digital-learning or assessment platform is advantageous.
• Strong strategic account management, consultative discovery, customised solution design and commercial and financial acumen.
