Maintenance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing plant, supporting the production of processed meat products. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with HACCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all plant machinery.
• Repair and maintain equipment, including generators, steam boilers, water treatment, pumps, and compressed air systems.
• Install new machinery and equipment as required.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluate information.
• Ensure health, safety, and HACCP guidelines are followed throughout maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of four CXC passes, including English and Mathematics.
• City and Guild certification in Plant Maintenance or a relevant trade.
• At least three years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and flexible hours with limited supervision.
• Meticulous, safety‑conscious, and strong organizational skills.
