Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will manage product inventory for SOL (Barbados) Ltd across aviation, white oils, bunkering and terminal receipts, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory operations including dips, reconciliations, bulk cargo receipts and purchase order processing.
• Maintain inventory records in Great Plains for three SOL entities, conduct monthly stock counts and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Process customs duties and tax payments for LPG and jet shipments and coordinate with the Comptroller of Customs.
• Identify, analyse and resolve inventory flow issues, review purchase invoices and ensure accurate documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inventory Comptroller or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and commercial decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management software, specifically Great Plains (GP).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.
